About Applebee's
Applebee is an American full-service restaurant brand popularly known for its signature Riblets. Applebee was conceptualized in 1980 by Bill and TJ Palmer in Atlanta, Georgia. At first, the restaurant was named T.J. Applebee's RX for Edibles and Elixirs. After the concept was acquired by W.R. Grace and Company, the restaurant was renamed as Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar. Later the company and the Applebee's concept changed hands with Abe Gustin and John Hamra who started the first Applebee's franchise restaurant in Kansas City.
Later in 2007, IHOP Corp. now known as DineEquity, Inc. acquired Applebee's and began their journey together to make Applebee's the world's largest full-service restaurant chain. Today, Applebee's serves at more than 1,830 locations worldwide. The Applebee's menu ranges from Appetizers and Salads to heavy meals consisting of ribs and steak. Solid place for a quick burger and wings. Staff quick, friendly and welcoming as we were on vacation. Highly recommend it for that perfect craving quick burger wing night dinner. Plus, our kids (7, 5, 2) all enjoyed the TV's that surround you while eating. Very kid friendly and we appreciated the quickness of the staff being we had little ones.

"Bradys" must be Irish for grease. So where to begin with this place, atleast 6 things were wrong. The first was the face that our waitress was a Houdini and disappeared only to come by for 10 seconds which for her, I guess we're an inconvenience. Secondly, our food times were completely screwed up and the apps came right out with the food. Third was the food, my god, do they know they cook with this much grease!? I could ring out our food and fry a 100 wings with the grease easily. Fourth was the fact that I and my fiancé never got one single refill until the bill came. Fifth, the waitress moved very fast and only showed her face when it came time to fetch the bill and bring boxes in which she brought out two mystery drinks and angrily slapped them on the table and left. And finally, there was some guy sitting in the corner on a barstool loudly calling out random trivia questions, completely out of place and was the cherry on the top for a horrible experience, wasn't worth $40 I spent and I should get a refund for all the pepto bismal and toilet paper I'm sure I'll have to buy- awful place and I will never ever return

I go to this Beef's often, probably 3-4 times per month. It is my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood since the other choices are pretty limited (Denny's. IHOP, Bob Evans, a few others and a variety of fast food.) Frank, one of the owners is friendly and really wants to keep the customers happy. The staff is generally good and friendly. When I go alone, I enjoy sitting at the bar for some friendly conversation. A few of the staff have come to know me well enough to ask if I want my "usual." This is a "family sports bar." No jiggles like you might get at Hooter's or Wing House -- just some smiling friendly folks. Lots of TV's and a small game room (well, more like a closet) with a few things the kids like. Tuesday night is Kid's Night. You will see plenty of families here. They serve Beer and Wine but no spirits -- they do have some wine-based mixed drinks. The food is pretty standard sports bar food. A few of the items are especially good. I'm on a low-carb diet, and they have a variety of salads that can be topped with grilled or fried chicken, steak, grilled fish, and grilled shrimp. (Many places only offer a grilled chicken salad.) But my low-carb occasional splurge item is wings. I can have hot wings (unbreaded) as long as I skip the sweet sauces and the fries. My favorite, which nobody else in the area serves, are Lemon-Pepper Wings. They use a dry lemon-pepper rub instead of a sauce. I don't know that the food really rates a 5-star, but it is pretty good for its category and I like the people.

After ordering takeout a couple weeks ago and arriving home to find we did not receive everything we ordered, and driving all the way back, we were told by a female management employee that we would be receiving a credit for a future order. Tonight when I called, I placed my order with Ashley and told her that I didn't want to place the order unless it was guaranteed I'd be receiving some form of credit. Instead of putting me on hold, she just held onto the phone and went to ask a male management employee about the credit. This then allowed me to hear when the manager began to joke with his employee. My name being Ashley, I overheard him say "oh her name is Ashley, I'm sure she'll be..." Couldn't quite make out exactly what he said. Obviously making a dig at the female employee I was on the phone with named Ashley. Just unprofessional. When he finally did get on the phone he explained to me that he had no record of the credit. But that he could give me 15% or free appetizer, "or anything that would make you happy within reason because I cannot just comp the whole meal." I told him by no means did I expect him to come to whole meal and that I really wasn't asking for anything in addition, I was just explaining that the previous manager had offered us a credit, of what value I did not know. To which he replied "right, so I can offer you $5 off, would that make you happy?" That was the last bit for me, he treated the situation as if I was complaining and I was just a customer he didn't want to deal with. We ordered takeout, didn't receive our entire order, that is your stores mistake, and you should absolutely take responsibility and rectify the mistake within reason. I would spend more on gas on the last two trips I had to make plus this one, then the five dollars you would've "refunded" me. Highly unprofessional all the way through.

I ate at Beef O about 2 weeks ago on Saturday night.. I had the chips and wings. The garlic parmesan wings were horrible. There was approximately four of them that seemed like they were cooked prior and then just refried and the others were kind of under cooked. The waitress never came over to bring me my soda. I had to go to the bar and get it. This is the kicker, I was 1 of 4 people in the place. I would never go back to that spot. The waitress was lousy.

I kept seeing the commercials on TV and finally talked my boyfriend & daughter into going. I am so glad I did. We had this incredible waitress. Not only was there never an empty glass, she even joked around, had an incredibly outgoing personality. I wish I had asked her name to give her props here. I know she had a blue fake flower in her blond hair, and talked to everyone in the restaurant like they were a friend. The food....OMG I love their Mozzarella Planks. You cannot call these sticks. They are wide and sooooo goooey. I got the appetizer with the chicken strips, onion rings, mozzi planks,&cheese quesadilla. I know all that food!!!!!! My daughter got their hot dogs that they serve for lunch smothered in chili. My boyfriend got the I think it was called spicy chicken salad and a bowl of chili. Hardly anyone could finish their food and we ended up bringing it home. It is a little pricey if you start added cheese to your fries or chili to your hotdogs. But wow there is something for every taste. Maybe not so much if you are a strict vegetarian but I will definitely go back here. It is one of the shining stars on the southside of St Pete. The incredible staff made it so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to this location to get food and watch monday night football. It was recommened as a place that would probably have the game on, and they did - after we asked twice if it could pe put on the large TV that was showing just the NFL Network. The place is exactly what I expected after visiting the website. Predictible, edible, chain restaurant food. I ordered "Extra Hot" wings, and my wife ordered Honey BBQ boneless wings. The Honey BBQ had an interesting flavor that I liked when I sampled. The "Extra Hot" wings were anything but hot. Sure, they tasted good, but not what I was expecting. We then each ordred a sandwich. My wife got a burger and curly fries and I got a philly cheesesteak. My "Philly Cheesesteak" was some thinly cut beef, grilled with some whole onion slices and then two slices of white american cheese melted over top the bun and the meat. I'm surprised it's leagal to even call this thing a Philly cheesesteak - anyone who has had a real Philly, or even a good imitation would cry if served this (I almost did...) It had little flavor, so some A1 sauce brought the sandwich to the point of edibility. Atmosphere is typical. A ton of TVs, maybe only half of them HD. Rays game playing, MNF playing, some other random sports news channel that nobody cares about playing.. They had about 5 beers on tap, and when I asked for a Yuengling, the waitress came back and informed me that they were out. Sammy Adams came to the rescue in a bottle. Either way, this place is the stereotypical chain sports bar/wingery/$8 sandwich/lets have a beer restaurant. If that's the kind of place you are looking for, this is your place.

Beef O Brady's aren't easily available in my home town, so I decided to give it a shot and try something vaguely familiar. It's really hard to go wrong with a sports bar. I find Beef O Brady's to be a Hooters without the ummm... hooters and a Flannigans with more of a low-key setting. Is that bad? Nah. I'd even toss in a bit of Miller's Ale House in there. On my menu for the day was the Beef o Brady burger and spicy wings for the appetizer. The wings were spicy. I'm not a super spice junky. In the grand scheme of it, I'm very low on the spiciness tolerance. I actually prefer more flavor than spice and these had good flavor. Maybe one day I'll get to try the wide variety of other flavors they have. The Beef O Brady burger was good. I ordered it medium and it came well done. Not a big issue for me because I wasn't expecting extreme perfection from a sports bar. The beef didn't seem solidly packed into a "burger" and sort of flopped out the side towards the end. Once again, it may be an issue for someone else, but I wasn't expecting Filet. I did find it a little strange that they had TVs in the bathroom. Around the main room, instead of crown molding, there were LCD TVs with every sports channel you can imagine. There was an arcade for kids to play in too. Bottom Line: Meh. Good enough to eat again. Much better than fast food at a McD or BK.

Beef bradys, if u come here and u dont get the wings there is something seriously wrong with you. I mean sure they have a full menu, but they should get rid of it because they have some pretty kick ass wings!
(4)Kristen P.
Fun place for trivia and amazing food! Love the wings!
(5)Eddie B.
This was my first time at this Beef's and I left full and happy! I grew up in Brandon and am spoiled by the original. Others just haven't compared until now. Our waitress, Rachael, was amazingly attentive and suggested a sandwich I will most definitely order again, the pressed garlic roast beef. The service was friendly and perfectly timed, the wings were plump and juicy and our drinks were never empty. I'm so happy to have a go to wing place again!
(5)Dana S.
I love this beef o bradys. Great food and service, the waitress always remembers what my bf and I order. I'm never unhappy.

I ordered the fish & chips, they were good, they were more like fish fingers though. The mens room had a strong smell of pee.. Ashley, my server, was friendly & professional.
